Unlocking the Art World: My Honest Take on MADS Art Gallery

This is one of my pieces called “Potions” being display on screen in Times Square, New York as part of the Masters Tribute event held at MADS Art Gallery in March 2024. They’re located in Italy but have access to a display program in Times Square. This is done at no extra cost when you exhibit with MADS.

Hey there! So, I got a DM on Instagram the other day asking about my take on MADS Art Gallery, and I realized it’s high time I shared my thoughts here. Plus, I’ve noticed a bit of buzz on Reddit with some folks expressing concerns, which I definitely want to clear up. And just so we’re clear, this review is 100% unsponsored.

Is MADS Art Gallery a Scam?

This concern popped up on a Reddit thread, with some worrying if MADS Art Gallery might be a scam, especially because of perceived low sales. Well, I’ve teamed up with MADS a few times and can confidently say they’re the real deal. It’s a legitimate art gallery through and through.

Now, I’ll be upfront—I haven’t exactly sold my weight in art with them, but the exposure? Phenomenal. And it’s not for lack of effort on MADS’ part; art buying is super subjective, and that’s out of any gallery’s hands.

What's in It for You with MADS Art Gallery?

MADS Art Gallery is fantastic, truly. Their curators are easy to work with—super friendly and incredibly supportive. They showcase your work on these awesome interactive video screens, plus you get a moment of fame with a feature on a giant display in Times Square!

It’s surprisingly affordable compared to many other galleries that have approached me. The digital shows on HD screens mean zero shipping costs, and they don’t take a commission on sales either. Plus, your curator will hype you up on their social media, and you get all the promotional goodies to share, including video footage of your art in the gallery and that Times Square display. You even get a PDF certificate that includes a review of the work that was shown and signed by your curator. So yes, it’s legit.

Working with MADS Art Gallery has opened so many doors for me. I’ve received offers from galleries and art event organizers, mainly in Europe’s art hotspots like Paris and Florence, but also from the US, including New York.

A resounding yes from me. Every Exhibition with MADS has been a positive experience. I’m always blown away by the feedback and offers I get after a show. They’ve been instrumental in promoting my work, and I’m excited about the future opportunities this could lead to. It’s definitely a gateway to greater success in the art world.
