Expanding the Blog in 2025: Guest Posts & Fresh Perspectives

Two young women are sitting at a table, smiling while looking at a laptop screen. One woman is wearing a denim jacket over a white shirt, while the other is dressed in a mustard yellow blazer over a black top. The background features a vibrant, colorful wall with an abstract tropical design, including large leaves, circles, and dotted patterns in shades of orange, blue, and yellow. A glass with pencils and a small potted plant are on the table.
Creative minds at work—welcoming my guest post writers to the team!

2025 is off to a fantastic start for the Art & Design By Teresa Cowley blog! I’m thrilled to announce a new, more flexible posting schedule to better accommodate guest writers. While my regular posts will still go up every Thursday, you can now also look forward to bonus posts on Tuesdays!

I want to respect my writers’ time, so I can’t promise a guest post every single week, but this is a big step forward. Expanding the blog to include more voices will help diversify the type of content I share and reach an even wider audience.

Expanding Content Beyond Art & Design

So far, the guest posts have covered business and branding, complementing my digital art and graphic design content. Many creatives are also entrepreneurs, so having insights on branding, marketing, and business strategy alongside art and design makes perfect sense!

I’m excited to welcome Vanessa Holwell from HiringSquad.net as a recurring guest contributor! While The Hiring Squad focuses on career success, Vanessa’s posts here will dive into business and branding insights, offering valuable strategies for creatives, entrepreneurs, and businesses alike. Stay tuned for her expert advice!

Beyond what this means for my blog, I hope this opportunity benefits my guest writers as well! Each guest post includes:

  • An author profile
  • A byline in the post body
  • A link to the writer’s website

I encourage you to check out their posts and visit their sites—you never know what inspiration or valuable insight you might find!

More From Art and Design By Teresa Cowley
This image shows a sculptural art piece resembling a human head, created with a mosaic of earth-toned materials, resembling cracked clay. The sculpture is adorned with a variety of leaves, twigs and flowers, giving the impression of hair and decoration. These botanical elements have autumnal hues, such as browns, yellows, and greens, adding a natural and organic feel to the piece. The sculpture rests on a wooden table and is set against a background featuring a meadow with evergreen trees in the distance. The craftsmanship suggests a connection between art and nature.
