Wearable art and wall art by Teresa Cowley

Welcome to my newly redesigned website! I hope that you enjoy all the new features and improvements as much I enjoyed creating them! I’ve had a website with Jimdo for years but I was beginning to feel the affects of its limitations and needed a change so made the switch to WordPress. The process of not just redesigning but switching platforms entirely wasn’t exactly smooth, especially for someone who isn’t a web designer by trade.

Jimdo is okay for absolute beginners but as my vision for the future and what I want to do with my art and design changed, I needed an update. Something more modern looking, with better creative options and security features which aren’t available on their platform. This most recent version also includes additional functionality.

Branching out from wall art to fashion accessories with unique scarf designs!

Wall art and scarves – interesting combination, hey? I still enjoy designing wall art but scarves are another passion of mine. I’ve loved beautifully coloured and patterned silk scarves since I was little. They’re like works of art you can wear wherever you go! I still have my original collection of silk and other printed fabric scarves I started when I was growing up. It’s so exciting to now be able to design my own and share them with you all. Each piece is unique and made with an attention to detail that will bring a little elegance into any outfit. I paln on offering more wearable art options in the future as well.

In conclusion, I am excited about the changes that I have made to my website and how that will impact my art offerings.

I am now able to offer more art selections, thanks to the addition of new pages. I am also pleased with the changes to both design and navigation, which has brought clarity and simplicity.

This image shows a sculptural art piece resembling a human head, created with a mosaic of earth-toned materials, resembling cracked clay. The sculpture is adorned with a variety of leaves, twigs and flowers, giving the impression of hair and decoration. These botanical elements have autumnal hues, such as browns, yellows, and greens, adding a natural and organic feel to the piece. The sculpture rests on a wooden table and is set against a background featuring a meadow with evergreen trees in the distance. The craftsmanship suggests a connection between art and nature.
