From Website Growth to Times Square Triumph: Catch Up on My Latest Adventures!

An update blog post from artist and designer Teresa Cowley
A general (but exciting) update from the desk of artist and designer Teresa Cowley

Hey there, it’s been a while since my last blog post, but I’m excited to share what I’ve been up to lately! My goal with this blog is to delve into the fascinating world where art and design intersect, create unique content, and explore endless creative possibilities.

Website Growth

I’m thrilled to announce that my website is starting to grow! I’m getting more visitors and appearing in search results more frequently than ever before. Although it’s still in the early stages, I’m really pleased with the progress so far. By the way, I want to assure you that the analytics I use prioritize your privacy. I only see visitors and page views as numbers, and any referrals like search results and shared links remain anonymous. This way, I can keep track of how things are going while respecting your privacy.

Art Shop Talk

I’m currently in the process of figuring out what kind of art offerings I want to focus on in the future. I already have my LeGaleriste shop, where my work is printed on high-quality fashion pieces, all made in Canada. However, I’m playing with the idea of ordering wholesale inventory and selling it directly through my website or locally via Facebook Marketplace, among other channels.

While I do have an online storefront with LeGaleriste, I must admit that I’m not entirely sure how I feel about the design and layout of it. I’d love to hear your thoughts on my shop in the comments section, as I’m eager to understand how it looks and feels for others. Perhaps I should only share a single category at a time instead of  everything at once? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Additionally, I’m looking to diversify my offerings by reintroducing wall art again and exploring other products featuring my art.

An Exciting Thing Happened!

Something truly exciting recently happened to me! I had the incredible opportunity to showcase my work once again with M.A.D.S. Art Gallery. They offer a unique opportunity called “FUORI E-VENTO” (which means “outside the Event”), allowing artists to display their work without any date or theme restrictions. Through this service, my art was showcased on a massive screen in New York’s iconic Times Square!

In my next post, which will be up next week, I’ll provide a detailed account of this experience, including a clip of my work being displayed on the Times Square screen. As part of “FUORI E-VENTO,” I was also provided with social media videos, graphics, and a PDF featuring the gallery’s expertise on the piece that was showcased. I can’t wait to share it all with you!

Full details are now up on my blog: Fuori E-Vento: Artistic Freedom in Times Square

I Haven't Forgotten

I haven’t forgotten about the follow-up post I promised regarding my EngagementBoost article. In that post, I reviewed and warned about a service that claims to help you grow on Instagram. I began writing it but quickly realized that there are far too many details to cover effectively in a written format. So, instead, I’ve decided it would be easier to present everything in video format. I just need to find some time to film it.

That’s all for this update. I hope you enjoyed catching up with me and my latest adventures. Stay tuned for more exciting content coming soon!

Hi, thank you for your comment! I appreciate it very much! Yes, I prefer to make sure my content is coming from my own point of view as much as possible. I’m still learning about what goes into a successful blog, so your feedback is very helpful. I will consider adding more updates and maybe even some personal posts here and there that might be a bit off topic for variety as well. 🙂
